                           RELIGION IS IMPORTANT

Religion is important. Who says it is not ? Go to places where people are denied Employment, and good things they rightly merit on the basis of Religion. Go places where things happen callously to people from a Religion that a majority do not tolerate. Go to places where Mistresses are made out of women who should be legal wife simply on the basis of religion.

If you are religiously tolerant why turn delusional about the alarming degree of intolerance others have for a particular religion ? Who coined the word religious fanatism ? It happened because it exists. People can hate you for the religion you believe in. It is reason enough. If you are not welcome on the basis of your religion … If you are despised and persecuted because you believe in a particular religion, it is adviseable to look elsewhere for tolerance. Nothing lasts in places where there is no religious diversity.

How possible is it that everyone would be of a particular school of thought ? Everybody ? I hear here of inter-religious –marriages. It does not workout. What you read here is about those marriages where Muslims and Christians get married in the long run you get to realize you are being FORCED – FORCED- YOU READ FORCED TO QUIT CHRISTIANITY.

On another write-up, we would be discussing which is of greater complexity – inter-religious or inter – racial marriages.

                    RELIGION AS IT PERTAINS TO AFRICA

FACT ONE – The higher your level of Literacy, the greater tolerance you possess for people of a religion not like your own. If reading was real and literacy was not done by cheating in the examination hall.  How could you possible read all those books  ?  I mean all those books and get tutored by the number of Tutors and Lecturers of various mind-sets and still be MYOPIC ?

 FACT TWO - Africa Is Still In The Shadows Of Religious Fanatism because many students ONLY CRAM TO SUCCEED AT EXAMINATIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY.

     DO NOT FOLLOW THE MULTITUDE TO DO EVIL

They may have told you that people eat fruits by first destroying the tree that bore it. Would you like anyone to destroy you ? If you would not , what have you been told is the benefit you gain by destroying other human beings ? There are some who would not eat from a tree and destroy it. Rather, the tree flourishes after they have eaten from it.  Flourish for decades and at times centuries like the Baobab tree.

Are you like that ? The benign or the destructive eater ? The benign eater, the destructive eater and the non eater - not one of them is alike. Considering that you gave EACH trees to eat from, you would get three different conditions. The Ruined tree, The Average tree and the Most flourishing one. The grass is always greener where it had been watered regularly. The grass is always unappealing where it has been down-trodden often.

 

That the multitude does it does not make certain things proper. Usually, the very same multitude on the long run would affect the situation and condition and reputation of a place. It also affects business. What people know you for . That is business. The very business that affects reputation and can make people either want to do business with you or not in civilised placed. In uncivilised places business is by force. 

Why is Africa the 3rd World ? Why is it neither First World nor Second ? Why do black people prefer other climes ? Are Africans not really responsible for the situation of their very own climes ? Do we do things as they do it in first world places ? Do we do things - good and excellent things as they do it in places better advanced than Africa ?

The truth is ................................      

 Perhaps Many Africans are not aware that improvements exists in certain parts of the World. Those places where many people prefer travelling to - be it on Vacation or Business. Negative things exists all over the world - true. Yet , per  population the level of good activities per population differs from place to place and it has immensely affected development be it on community or individual level.

Infact there are places where the multitude do not work hand in hand to do evil. They work hand in hand to do good - to make improvements - to do something good today better than they did it previous day. Time is not waiting for anyone and that time being spent to ruin other people's lives others are spending it becoming first and second world country. Where we are was not arrived at by magic, we worked for it. We did certain things collectively that kept our populace where it is by World Ranking.

One rich person among very many poor people is poor and one poor person among many rich people is rich. Do not follow the multitude to do evil. What is the right thing to do is to do the kind of thing(s) you would like other people to do to you. 

If you live near a river or pond or plateau or desert - if I live near a river or pond or plateau would the activity if done by everyone turn into a good reputation that enables development ? The Donkey toils when it works alone in doing good. Good works cannot be the responsibility of those in office alone . Each and everyone counts.

 

WHAT ACTIVITIES ENHANCE DEVELOPMENT IN ANY COMMUNITY, LOCALE, OR POPULACE ?

1.  Consideration for the privacy of others. It is the 21st Century. The dawn of civilization. A time when people knock at doors before entering houses. A time when men propose before beginning relationships.  Infact Noble Men propose before getting familiar with a girl. Civilized Noble Men who know the difference between a fling - a one night stand - a relationship - an engagement - actual courtship - and marriage. It is the 21st Century - a time when a fling is not called marriage. A time when even men with the intention of a one night stand propose. Civilization at its very best. A time when emotional relationships are not assumed.

A time when Earnings get paid to those who labour. A time when those who labour are not hopeless knowing that they labour not in vain. Knowing they can forget the days of Wage Slavery.
